Thank you

We are soooo amazed and thankful for the many words of encouragment everyone has sent our way. These last 14 days have been very hard, but the support and prayers from you all have carried us to a place of peace that only comes from Jesus. We love you all and cannot wait to tell you about our trip to Miami. Please pray that Jameson will travel well and that we will have a great time of bonding with him away from the hospital.

Zachary, our 5 year old, prayed tonight in a way that blew us away. His sweet prayer was beyond his years and understanding. God is doing great things all around us. Thank you Lord .

Love,
Melisa and Todd

I am so excited to see what the next couple of days hold for Jameson. Thank you both for allowing the boys to hang with us for the last week or so. They are great kids. You are great parents. Jameson is a blessed kid to have you both to go through this with.

Love- Mark

My name is Joe Murray, and my 13-month old little gal, Joella, has EB. My wife, Katie, has communicated to me what has transpired with Jameson since his birth. We have been praying daily for God's comfort and grace to shower you with friendship, wisdom, patience, and stamina in these first months of caring for a child with EB. From viewing your posts and the many sincere comments, it appears He is wrapping His warm arms around you as His children.

July 25th was the one-year anniversary of our taking Joella home from the NICU, where she spent her first 34 days of life. Oh, what a joy it was to bring her home. Reading your post describing Jameson's departure from the NICU made me remember that joy. I am greatful for your experience in bringing him home.

Remember to take in all that you are learning about EB one day at a time. There is so much medical and care-information that viewing the disease and the responsibility it carries can become overwhelming. Joella has taught us to really appreciate every day as a gift from above. Isaih 26:3 states, "You will keep in perfect peace, he whose mind is steadfast, because his trust is in the Lord."

As you already have discovered, there are EB support groups which provide a wealth of intelligence, and please feel free to call upon us anytime as I know you have Katie's email and phone info.

You guys are doing a great job as Jameson's parents. All the best with your travels to and from Miami. Look forward to hearing about your experiences.

Jameson is so beautiful! We love seeing the pictures of all of you, as we check the blog daily for updates. Dylan and Bailey especially love the one with all three of their cousins together. We are happy to hear that prayers have been answered. We pray that your trip to Miami goes well and for complete healing for Jameson. Your Christian faith during this difficult time has been such an inspiration to me. I listened to the song, "Glory in the Highest",--AWESOME! I see why it has so much meaning to you. Ya'll are a wonderful example of Christian parents. Nicholas, Zachary and Jameson are blessed to have you.

Love,
Shawn

Todd/Melisa - as your car pulled out for Miami, everything looked fine and hopefully the trip went well. Jameson even looked content in the car seat, although we all wished it was a little less confining.
Literally hundreds of us are praying that today's appointment will reveal some positive news regarding his condition and future care. We all love you and are not only praying diligently but also really admire you for your faith and unquestioning committment to the Lord at this difficult time. We Love You

Todd, Melisa and boys,
It was great to see you in church yesterday. Taking time to worship with your church family says a lot about your faith and source of strength. We have been praying fervently for Jameson and your family. He is so precious! He is on my heart often, as are you, his family. The verse that keeps coming to me is Isaish 55:9, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." It's hard to understand why things happen, but we just have to trust that God's plan is the best one! I also like to think of little Jameson in Jesus' arms, as in Isaish 40:11, "He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart." I look forward to hearing about today's visit with the doctor in Miami. Keep the faith.
Love to all,
Kim Muller
