He is growing!!!

I have to do bandage changes once a day everyday for Jameson....as I have said before. Well within the past 2-3 days I have noticed that the bandages were looking a little small. Jameson is growing!!!!!!!!!!! He is getting longer and rounder. That is such an answer to prayer. EB babies have a hard time gaining weight because they are working so hard to reproduce own skin. Just knowing that he is on the right tract with weight gain is so reassuring. We are very encouraged!!!!

Nicholas and Zachary just finished their first week of school and they loved it.

GOD IS GOOD ALL OF THE TIME!!!!!!

Hey you guys,
Sorry for the delay in writing- I am SO thankful that sweet Jameson is doing well this week and GROWING- how awesome and encouraging! You all have no idea how your blog is affecting all of us who are blessed to know you and pray for you. It is a testament of what God can do through those who are willing just to be poured out totally to Him. We have known and loved you and your family for a long time (can you believe about 15 years ???) and through watching your precious family wrap your arms around this little baby in his own special way and dig in to the work ahead, you are such a witness and challenge to us to trust the Lord in our own lives. I am so glad, too, that N and Z are happy and loving school- I am really glad for them!! We will stay in touch, and as always are praying for you all. Love, The Hobbs Family

I am so glad to hear that Jameson is growing and doing so much better. I noticed on a past post that you mentioned a 2 hour dressing change. If it makes you feel any better, it does get quicker. We have Ella's changes down to a science and the other night we topped our own record. It only took 40 minutes, and that included a bath! You will learn how to refine the process. We're still praying for you all and for your steep learning curve. It's easy to get overwhelmed and question God during all of this. I still ask God why, but God has given me a peace that it is not my job to understand, my job is to be the best mom to Ella that I can be, and to take care of all of her boo boos in the best way I know how. You guys are doing a great job.

I am so glad to hear the Jameson is growing and thriving! That is such an encouragement. God is so good to give us visible signs of encouragement and His love for us.

We are praying for another good week! Praying things would get a little easier every day and that the joy of knowing God is in control and will work all of this for His glory and goodness would fill your home.

The Lord said, "Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose." Jeremiah 15:11

A cheerful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22

All our love,

We are so thankful to hear of the wonderful progress Jameson is making. You and Todd are such an encouragement to us I almost feel guilty. Many times we have asked why to different things and you are so right we may never know but we serve a God who is faithful and true to His promises He will never leave us or forsake us. We continue to pray and expect great things from a powerful God. So glad the boys had a great first week of school.
