Successful Surgery

We are out of surgery and it went very well. He is now resting with us and looking good. Thank you to all of you for your prayers. We praise God for all of your prayers and calls.

Jameson's anesthesiologist was amazing. Her knowledge of EB and how to handle Jameson impressed us. She knew other methods of putting him to sleep instead of intabating him. Dr. Robinson did not have to put anything down his throat. He had something like an epidural. This worked great!!!!!

We will keep you up to date.

God is Good all the time. So glad things went so well. What a big relief you must feel that this is over. How blessed you are to have so many friends and family praying for you. We look for news several times a day. We are continuing to pray for you all. I know you all are sooo busy and sooo tired. Just keep us updated when you can.

I am so glad things went well today!! I hope his incisions heal soon and without complication.

The support group meeting is Sunday. I know you have a lot going on now, but I hope you might be able to make it. I think it would be good for you to meet others. (Sally will be there too!) There will be between 10-12 other EB familes there that would love to meet you guys. All of you are welcome and we have activities for the kids. There will also be a wound care rep from the company that makes that new product I was telling you about. She is bring samples for us too:-) It starts at 3:00 and will probably last for at least a couple of hours! Just give me a call if you need directions. Hope to see you there.

ANything you need, Melissa, I'd love to help. We think and pray for your family often. (Jack still remembers Nicholas and Zachary each night in his prayers.) We love you guys. Christine
